common peoples...... we are democratic country, or at lest want to be same :-(. in my opinion ( 8 years of golf experience hcp 5.0 at 13.05.2012), the local professionals have to participate in every tournaments as participants, rules cometee, marshall etc...first of all, many young and even old players don't know the rules, secondly, our pro teachers have no time to play and improve theirs' skill/course practice. let them be shaped !!! of course i will never agree to compete with artur krukov for eco shoe, but i'll not to take any lesson from him if i'll not see him on corse and watch his score. my opinion is: let's rise up skills of our pros, getting them chance to participate in tournaments, rise theirs' respect, and esteems, they are our best pros and teachers. i think, that responsibility of managers of our golf clubs good enough as to agree with the sponsops for some additional group prizes for profrssionals (seems to be interesting to come also for profeccionals from neighbouring states to spread out theirs interests), or just let them to take participation in competition for free (dinner). believe me, i don't like if any pro will take my stroke prise, but want to have in riga our most experienced and popular golf pros in the world. artur, valdis, davis, edward, i always want to go to you scores, but please, keep amateur prises for amateurs. but your game always wanted to be watched. brgds, ivan |
